Happy New Arrival

She has arrived. Alena was born early this morning and is healthy, happy, huggable and cute. Mother is doing fine also except for the fact that there was no anesthesia during the entire process. Contractions started at 12:30 AM. She woke me up at 1:30 AM when they had gotten to 5 minutes apart. We checked into the hospital at 2:05 and the baby came (with one push) at 2:37 AM. The doctor did make it but the anesthesiologist did not.

Thanksgiving Fun

Tonight we made handprint turkeys. The kids had a fun time doing it. Notice the detail on Addison's and Katelyn's turkeys. They each spent more time than the rest of us combined. We made the mistake of using permanent markers to trace our hands but everyone had fun. 5 of the 7 handprints are real. We couldn't get two of them.

Lip Stick Girl

Hailey found Katelyn's glitterly lip stick and had some fun with it. Mom wasn't thrilled.

It's birthday time again. Katelyn was pretty excited about the cake grandma made her. I thought Tiffany should have made it, but she seemed to think grandma was more adept at it.

Bragging Rights

Since we have bragging rights for the cutest girls in the family we need to post the proof. I think this is also proof enough that we have the cutest kids overall, but I'm sure that there would be debate over that position (even though I'm right).
